PAWS is pleased to announce the launch of our PAWSome Kids Club! This club meets eight times a year, on Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. It is open to children ages 6 - 12 years of age who love dogs and cats and are enthusiastic about learning responsible pet ownership and care for the animals while having fun!
Each meeting will allow the children to learn to make a difference in the lives of animals through hands-on interaction with the animals at PAWS, as well as animal themed arts and crafts enrichment projects, games, discussions with PAWS volunteers and guest speakers and other planned activities and events. Children will learn what happens behind the scenes at PAWS, participating in how to properly care for the animals and their living areas. Activities will teach children to build confidence in animal interaction and companionship, working with others in a respectful and confident way, and build friendships with other Club members, staff, and volunteers at PAWS.

All visitors, staff, and volunteers will hand sanitize before and after all interactions if hand washing is not possible. We practice reasonable social distancing by staying 6 feet apart as much as possible. Masks are required inside the building. Certain activities may also require wearing surgical gloves and booties which will be provided to the children by PAWS. For the time being those without masks will not be permitted into the building.
