Friday The Purr-teenth

Location
Centre County PAWS

In honor of all the black and mostly black cats and kittens PAWS currently has in its care, we are renaming Friday the 13th to Friday the Purr-teenth! We’ll be celebrating by waiving adoption fees for all black and mostly black cats and kittens from April 13–30.

Take a look at our cats and kittens available for adoption and then stop by PAWS during our open hours to meet your new best friend!

In addition to our regular open hours, we’ll be open for special hours to kick off the promotion on Friday, April 13 from 4–7 p.m. (This promotion applies to just our cats and kittens, but our dog side will be open as well during our special open hours.)

All PAWS cats and kittens are:

  • microchipped
  • up-to-date on shots
  • tested for key illnesses
  • spayed/neutered

They also receive their first vet visit to a Centre County vet free.

While fees are waived for cats and kittens, our regular adoption application process is still in place. You can learn about the process of how to adopt here.

NOTE: Even though it is Friday the 13th, we won't be hiding our black cats. We agree with the ASPCA that there is no reason to believe these cats are at risk. Read more here.
